Cape Fear Farm Credit welcomes Lesa King

With roots in agriculture and a heart for farming, Lesa King joins Cape Fear Farm Credit as a Loan Servicing Specialist in Clinton. Lesa is excited about her new role at CFFC and “embraces the opportunity and the challenge to serve my community in a capacity that will benefit existing famers.” She also says that she is so grateful for the warm welcome. “Everyone immediately made me feel welcome, at home and like ‘one of the family,” she said. Growing up in the Johnston and Sampson County area, Lesa spent summers on a tractor, in fields, and picking produce to go to the local market, giving her an appreciation for where food comes from. She and her husband, Timmie, a Prestage Farms live haul hog truck driver, live in Clinton with their 18 year old son, Payson, who will be attending Methodist University to major in Environmental and Occupational Management. Payson hopes to one day farm himself. Lesa enjoys spending time with her family, especially at the beach. She also likes reading, writing, and horseback riding! Welcome Lesa!
