Over 600 Calls Made to Customers During Blitz Week
Relationships and people are at the heart of what we do. We genuinely love building relationships with our customers and community. However, because of COVID-19, we have not been able to visit our customers as often as we like, and honestly, we miss that.
We did the next best thing to visiting our customers—Blitz Week. This is a week centered around calling our customers “just to check in.” We are a relationship lender, and we care about our customers and their families. Calling is the least we can do.
We have Blitz events quarterly, and the most recent Blitz focused on Full-Time Ag Customers. Our team called over 600 customers within a week’s time to check in. No requests, no agendas…just checking in on our customers, who are more like close family and friends.
“Our customers become our family. It has been hard during COVID-19 to not be able to see them as we normally would,” said John Patterson, Chief Relationship Officer. “It was so nice to be able to call and take the time to check in with our customers and their families.”
Making the calls included loan officers, branch team members, regional managers and our CEO, Evan Kleinhans.
Why make more than 600 phone calls? Because we want to nurture relationships and because we honestly care. We want to be more than a lender. We want to be a trusted friend.
As a relationship lender, we constantly hear comments from our customers such as, "I’m so thankful for what Cape Fear Farm Credit does for my family and other farmers. I value the relationship I have with my lender. CFFC goes above and beyond to ensure our needs are taken care of, and we are doing alright. They don’t have to do that, but they do!”
This pandemic has caused some disruptions in daily life, and forced us to be farther apart physically, but we will not let a pandemic stop us from building relationships and reaching out to those we care about. We are thankful to have been able to talk to so many and are looking forward to the next quarterly Blitz event.
