Our scholarships support academic excellence, community involvement, and leadership for students committed to southeastern North Carolina agriculture and rural development.

 

Available Scholarships

FFA Scholarship

One (1) FFA scholarship award is available each year to a high school senior residing in the counties served by Cape Fear Farm Credit. Applicants must have at least one year of membership with FFA. This scholarship is awarded in the amount of $2000 per year for up to four years. Applicant must meet one of the following academic requirements: minimum 3.0 GPA on an un-weighted scale, minimum 1350 SAT score or minimum 21 ACT score. Additionally, the applicant must be accepted in a college or university program as a full-time undergraduate student.

At-Large Scholarship

Nine (9) $1,000 scholarships will be available. Applicant must reside in a county served by Cape Fear Farm Credit and must be the child or grandchild of a Cape Fear Farm Credit member. Applicant must meet one of the following academic requirements: minimum 3.0 GPA on an un-weighted scale, minimum 1350 SAT score or minimum 21 ACT score. Additionally, the applicant must be accepted in a college or university program as a full-time undergraduate student. 

Diversity Scholarship

One (1) $1,000 scholarship will be available. Applicants must reside in a county served by Cape Fear Farm Credit and must be the child or grandchild of a Cape Fear Farm Credit member. To be considered for this scholarship, the applicant must appropriately identify their racial/ethnic status on the application. Applicant must meet one of the following academic requirements: minimum 3.0 GPA on an un-weighted scale, minimum 1350 SAT score or minimum 21 ACT score. Additionally, the applicant must be accepted in a college or university program as a full-time undergraduate student.

AgYouth Leadership Scholarship

Up to three (3) $1,000 scholarship will be available. Applicants must reside in a county served by Cape Fear Farm Credit. To be considered for this scholarship, the applicant must be a senior in high school in good standing with his/her FFA or 4-H program and with their high school. To Apply

The application is opened online mid-fall each year. The 2019 application deadline is March 1, 2019. Scholarship recipients are notified each May.
