Our scholarships support academic excellence, community involvement, and leadership for students committed to southeastern North Carolina agriculture and rural development.

FFA & 4-H Scholarship

One (1) FFA scholarship award is available each year to a high school senior residing in the counties served by Cape Fear Farm Credit. Applicants must have at least one year of membership with FFA or 4-H. This scholarship is awarded in the amount of $2000 per year for up to four years.

Applicant must meet  the academic requirement of a minimum 3.0 GPA on an un-weighted scale and maintain a 3.0 GPA on an un-weighted scale to continue to receive the scholarship each year. Additionally, the applicant must be accepted in a college or university program as a full-time undergraduate student. 

College At-Large Scholarship

Four (4) $1,000 scholarships will be available each year to an enrolled college student pursuing a degree for a career focused on agriculture and/or serving rural communities. Applicant must reside in, or connected to an agricultural operation in, a county served by Cape Fear Farm Credit and must be the child or grandchild of a Cape Fear Farm Credit member. Applicant must meet the academic requirement of a minimum 3.0 GPA on an un-weighted scale. Additionally, the applicant must be accepted in a college or university program as a full-time undergraduate student.

High School At-Large Scholarship

Eight (8) $1,000 scholarships will be available each year to a high school senior. Applicant must reside in, or connected to an agricultural operation in, a county served by Cape Fear Farm Credit and must be the child or grandchild of a Cape Fear Farm Credit member. Applicant must meet  the academic requirement of a minimum 3.0 GPA on an un-weighted scale.  Additionally, the applicant must be accepted in a college or university program as a full-time undergraduate student.  

Diversity Scholarship

One (1) $1,000 scholarship will be available. Applicants must be either a high school senior or current enrolled in a college or four-year university as well as reside in, or connected to an agricultural operation in, a county served by Cape Fear Farm Credit and must be the child or grandchild of a Cape Fear Farm Credit member. To be considered for this scholarship, the applicant must appropriately identify their racial/ethnic status on the application. Applicant must meet  the academic requirement of a minimum 3.0 GPA on an un-weighted scale.  Additionally, the applicant must be accepted in a college or university program as a full-time undergraduate student. 

AgYouth Leadership Scholarship

Up to three (3)  $1,000 scholarship will be available. Applicants must reside in a county served by Cape Fear Farm Credit.  To be considered for this scholarship, the applicant must be a senior in high school in good standing with his/her FFA or 4-H program and  with their high school. The AgYouth Leadership scholarship has different deadlines and application page.
